About Distance Education: Distance Education provides an entirely asynchronous, online learning experience that adapts to the unique circumstances of each student. The Opportunity: Unity Environmental University Distance Education seeks enthusiastic individuals to serve as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support the development of a Bachelor of Science program in Psychology for Organizational Sustainability. SMEs work closely with an academic dean to advise on and develop curricula, including program-level learning outcomes and course descriptions and sequences. They also collaborate with staff to create learner-focused materials to support program recruitment and marketing. Qualifications Do you have the skills? An advanced degree (Master’s minimum) in organizational psychology, human resource management or other related field with significant professional experience applying psychology principles to organizational and employee management. Broad understanding of the field of organizational psychology and current best practices. Familiarity with the skills and content knowledge required for successful career advancement in organizational psychology. Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately. Experience with online teaching and/or distance learners is desirable.
