Job Opportunity: Pediatric Hospitalist

Join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals at a state-of-the-art facility located in Utica, NY! We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to enhance our expanding pediatric service at the new Wynn Hospital. This modern facility has combined the local hospitals within the Mohawk Valley Health System and offers an excellent work-life balance in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage for a 7-bed inpatient pediatric unit and engage in emergency department consultations.
• Share coverage of the newborn nursery in collaboration with the neonatology service.
• Educate medical students and family medicine residents.
• Collaborate with pediatric-trained therapists and consultants for comprehensive patient care.
• No delivery attendance or NICU coverage required.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth of residency programs within the facility.
• Open to experienced practitioners, new graduates, and commuters.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (within 5 years of residency)
• New York state license (or willingness to obtain)
• Must not require visa support (J1 or H1B)

Licenses and Certification Requirements:

• Current Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatrics is mandatory.
• Must possess or be eligible for a New York state medical license.
