Job Title: Generator Apprentice Technician

Positions Available: 1

Pay Rate: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time, approximately 10 hours overtime per week

Travel: Required – includes out-of-state travel

Per Diem: $160.00/day while traveling

Transportation: Provided for job-related travel

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Generator Apprentice Technician to support our experienced technicians with generator installations, repairs, and maintenance . This is a hands-on role offering valuable training and on-the-job experience with long-term potential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing work areas for generator service and installation
• Carry tools, equipment, and materials as needed
• Follow instructions and safety protocols under direct supervision
• Learn to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on generators
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Travel with the team to out-of-state job sites as needed

Requirements:

• Willingness to travel frequently
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift and carry materials safely
• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Dependable and punctual with good communication skills

* Install, diagnose, or repair communications, sound, security, or navigation equipment in motor vehicles.

* Install equipment and accessories, such as stereos, navigation equipment, communication equipment, and security systems.

* Inspect and test electrical or electronic systems to locate and diagnose malfunctions, using visual inspections and testing instruments, such as oscilloscopes and voltmeters.

* Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills and routers.
