General Production Worker

Currently hiring General Production Workers located in the Philadelphia, PA area for a full-time opportunity for this manufacturing company. The General Production Workers will be responsible for monitoring machinery involved in taping, edging, and detaping eyeglass wear. You will also ensure cleanliness and organization of the workspace while stocking away finished products. This role requires a keen eye for detail to alert managers when machines are not functioning correctly. This job will also require you to match the lenses to the proper customer order, coding the bins with the correct color, and being able to work in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment. It's required to have prior manufacturing/production experience and being able to commit to a full-time hours. This position does pay weekly, a long-term opportunity, and able to interview immediately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machinery used for taping, edging, and detaping eyeglass wear.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work cells.
• Alert managers to any malfunctions in machinery.
• Stock finished products efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Production experience
• Attention to detail
• Ability to stand on feet all day

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of production experience
• General production skills
• Inspection, cleaning, shipping, and receiving experience
• Warehousing and warehouse production knowledge

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
