Job Description

The Trainer partners with Operations Vice-Presidents, District Directors, Home Managers, and Direct Service Providers (DSP) to coordinate, facilitate, and monitor all training related activities for their assigned geographical area. The Trainer’s responsibilities include conducting in-person classroom and/or virtual training sessions; ensuring training compliance within their assigned geographical area; identifying learning opportunities; creating business partnership to ensure open and transparent communication; and participate in workgroups to develop learning materials for the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and/or coordinate all required training including, but not limited to, on-boarding orientation, shadow shift(s); and competency assessments to ensure the implementation of high-performance standards.
  • Promote a strong learning-based environment and ensure that staff have access to top-of-the-line training and educational opportunities.
  • Maintain a positive and mentoring environment that both challenges employees to reach their potential and provides for a caring, people-first, atmosphere.
  • Participate in developing and achieving operational goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Ensure all training is documented in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Contribute to the development of all staff within their assigned geographical area by providing career advancement guidance. I.e., level system, lead training, and management programs.

Required Education and Experience

  • Three – Five Years of training experience, specifically onboarding new employees, facilitation in-person and virtual settings
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communication, teaching, or relevant
  • A background in mental health or healthcare is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills utilizing various software programs and applications.
  • This role requires travel 2-3 days a week, may require overnight stays.
