Salary: $19.00+ Hourly DOE

Job Title: Delivery Driver (Class C Palletized Freight)

Job Summary:

This position is for a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to transport palletized goods using Class C vehicles. The driver will be responsible for local or regional deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class C vehicle to deliver palletized products to customers or distribution centers
• Load and unload pallets using pallet jacks or liftgates, ensuring secure and damage-free handling
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly
• Verify accuracy of delivery orders and obtain proper signatures and documentation
• Maintain clean and organized delivery logs, inspection sheets, and mileage records
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and local traffic laws
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch regarding delivery status and any delays
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicle
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed (e.g., clerking, wrapping/staging pallets, organizing freight)
• Adhere to safety standards and use proper lifting techniques and PPE

Requirements:

• Valid Class C drivers license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating commercial vehicles
• Experience handling palletized freight using pallet jacks or similar equipment
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally with customers
• Ability to present with a professional appearance including safety toe boots and collared shirts
